The Story

AUDITIONS is about four performers from across the globe who take the audience on a journey of all the highs, lows, embarrassing & often hilarious experiences that occur for artistes in the entertainment industry. The show deals with the harsh realities of show business, and features both humorous and poignant moments as we live through each character's audition experiences.

The Characters

The story pits four performers from different countries against each other. Vivian Cheong is from Hong Kong. Lee Swan is from the USA. Jessica Maylie is from England. Anthony Taylor is from Australia. You will follow the passionate performers each on their own path as they share candid and intimate stories about the entertainment industry.

The Music

Critics have referred to the show as 'spell binding'. With songs ranging from rhythmic lyrical masterpieces, through melodic harmonic anthems, to showstopping Broadway numbers, this show touches the heart strings of everyone. Playwright, Michael Sharmon, says, "This is not just a story for artistes, but for anyone brave enough to follow their dreams....."
